Why is eating out so stigmatized?

I just don’t understand why eating out is still considered “unhealthy”. There’s plenty of healthy food and restaurants.

Making a pork chop sandwich for lunch doesn’t magically become healthier than a salad or a wrap

if you would eat a kfc donut chicken sandwich for lunch, why would the shyt you make at home be any better

I eat a plain garden salad every weekday for lunch, along with an orange, & a bottled water. Last time I ate out during lunch I got sick by the time work was over, winded up laying down once I got home.

I might start doing this, except with raw spinach. Super easy and cheap. Maybe add carrots. Boil some eggs for protein + yogurt on the side.

What's some good dressing to use that doesn't have a ton of calories and fat?

I would say a light Balsamic vinegar or vinaigrette is the best for a spinach salad, a light blue cheese dressing can also work as well, any brand will do.

Look at some of the nutritional values. Just because something is only 600 calories doesn't it mean it isn't health. A grilled chicken sandwich from somewhere like Culver's, Popeye's, and Chick-fil-A be having like 1000mg of sodium when our daily intake should be no more than 2000mg/day.

Poor your hard earned money into the pockets of wealthier individuals, brehs...

As a general rule, try to minimize paying others for things you can do yourself...

If you have to take some time to educate yourself on certain things so be it. You'll have long term financial security to show for it.

Eating out is objectively bad and a waste of money when not done in moderation

I got US Bank and the app tracks where you spend your money....last July I was eating out a lot cause it was hot and didn't feel like using the stove. Simple shyt too, 12 bucks at mcdonlads...a family meal at popeyes...normal shyt.

Wound up spending 600 dollars that month...in just eating out.

I prefer to pack instead of buying lunch everyday. Spending $35 plus dollars a week on food that ain't that healthy for me anyway long term? NAH

I'll buy something every blue moon though.
