If you study development they often use Ghana and South Korea as models because during the 60s ( post colonialism) they were at the same developmental stage but their trajectories were vastly different. Corruption was rife in both countries but S. Korea used its levels of corruption to enrich Tyc00ns who helped grow their economy and their industrial base.

Ghana is one of the most stable countries on the whole continent. No reason for Ghana not to be richer than it is.

Im talking in general terms here. Governments in Africa be on some bullshyt they are very selfish and theres a lot of corruption. There needs to be free education for all children And education needs to reach the rural communities. Railroads also need to built. The government need to invest instead of lining their pockets.

a lot of black countries were created by boundaries set by Europeans and placed with puppet governments without any real structural integrity

Boundaries and countries are cac concepts that were imposed on people in relatively recent times

They basically took a map, drew some lines, put governments in place with their own ideology, with little to no economic development outside of the shyt they set up to steal resources from the areas, and told all of the people in these boundaries to follow the rules and get along.

Then people compare these countries to Asian and European countries who have existed for thousands of years.

There is another layer. South Korea has received substantial aid from the US. Not because the US is so very kind but because US hopes to use it as a pivot to contain their real concerns China and Russia.
