I didn't think it was as funny as before, but he made good social commentary. From what I read online, they didn't like the comments about trans people, and eluded that they would contribute to the harm/killing of those people. These people stay silent, when folks make jokes about black folks.
It’s not everyone, it’s just a minority of people with a loud voice. They have no power since that requires doing more than sending a tweet. If they were truly interested in change and justice, Trump wouldn’t be in office.
They need Chappelle so they can continue getting literal pennies for their words writing BS articles.

Young people these days have been listening to mostly cac slut humor like Amy Shumer and Goofball Comedy like Kevin Hart. They are used to hearing comedians address actual polictial and current event like they did back in the with Chris Rock and Eddie Murphy. Those that do remember it with nostaligia and seperate it from their actual opinions on the politics. So now with Chappelle they get this comedian everyone tells them is super funny and their only frame of reference is two minute youtube clips showing specific jokes. So when they sit and watch a whole special, they get shock and appalled because they don't really no what it's like for a comedian to make light of things they're are sensitive about. Thats my main gripe with it. That shyt was lacklustreit wasn't that funny....
They are mad because he's going against the grain of what they say you can and can't joke about. They want to control how people talk, therefore controlling how people think, and Chappelle is deliberately bucking that shyt.
