The closest beach is Galveston. Which is shytty brown water and not much going on at all bc they never really rebuilt all the way after the hurricanes
Saw these kids standing in 6 block long lines in broad daylight to go to a "pool party" in an industrial district warehouse
No walkable bars/clubs so they took over a parking lot
Then saw the Rodeo got shut down bc of fights
. Also had to enforce a dress code policy bc they forget its little kids and families there

nice. our vendor is having a conference in houston next month, we didnt even have the budget to go this year

). We have cool bars throughout the area. We have a few cool live music venues.
Driving is annoying, but traffic is bad in most big cities. It's not that bad of a place. The food is pretty good. I mean it's not Chicago or NYC, but we have good restaurants. You gotta pay a shyt ton for it though ($500-$750 meals). But we have good food. We also have some good museums. We got most sports. It's not that bad.
