pho·bi·a   [foh-bee-uh]
noun
a persistent, irrational fear of a specific object, activity, or situation that leads to a compelling desire to avoid it.

I'm not SCARED of gay people, I just disagree with their lifestyle and think it's demonic.

So how the hell did these fakkits manage to convince the general public that one must be scared of gay people if he isn't comfortable with their romantic preferences?

Is the gay influence just that great that they somehow coined that term and everyone else just ran with it as the accepted verbiage for someone anti-same sex relations?

It's not like I run away screaming when I see two dudes holding hands, I just believe it's morally at conflict with my own personal beliefs and I go about my business.

I also personally believe incestuous relationships are morally wrong, is that a phobia too? Am I scared of people who commit incest?

Did these :wrist: brainwash the public or what brehs?

Homophobia and homophobic are words gays twisted the meaning of to label people who oppose their homosexuals lifestyle. People call them fakkits so they need a word to call them back. That's all it is. There is no fukking phobia.

Look up the definition of fear.

Fearring something is not necessarily being scarred of it.

It's a shaming tactic. People like to create words to counter people who disagree with their lifestyle. I'm seeing this a lot with whores now when they call you a "slut shamer". "You're just a homophobe." Or the other version Morgan Freeman said "You're just an a$$hole." Well gee, how about the fact that not everyone is going to agree with your lifestyle?

I don't agree with their lifestyle either but who they fukk doesn't affect me so it's out of sight, out of mind. With that said they need to chill with trying to force everyone to embrace homosexuality and shyt. If I like Blueberry pancakes I won't force everyone else to like them. I also won't shame people into oblivion because they don't like blueberry pancakes.

Technically homophobia is not a misnomer due to the phobia part, but due to the homo part. Homo doesn't mean gay. It means people. So it means you're afraid of people. Or you could go Greek and it means you fear what is the same as you, which technically could be the same thing.

It's almost as bad as the word "metrosexual". Unless people are fukking cities it makes no sense and the way you dress has nothing to do with your sexuality.

The term doesn't make sense either way.

You're a bigot instead of a homophobe then, is that better? :mjpls:

how so? you say that like i'm out committing hate crimes against gays or verbally abusing them upon us crossing paths... it doesn't affect me at all, I just don't agree with their lifestyle... I don't like people who insist on pissing in the urinal directly next to me when all the other ones are open, does that make me a bigot too?

Bottom line is wether we agree with their lifestyle or not they are people just like you and I and they have rights just like you and I.

I mean seriously tho. Discrimination is discrimination. If you support one then you might as well support them all. It's not my place to tell a man/woman who to fukk. I have an extreme addiction to p*ssy and that's my right. As long as you're not trying to influence me and mine i'm good.

fear   [feer] Show IPA
noun
1.
a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid.

that's what I'm saying though... I don't feel any impending danger, evil, pain, etc. when I see gay people. I just don't agree with their lifestyle.

I wouldn't classify myself as "fearful" of someone who I saw stealing a pack of gum from the grocery store, even though I think it's morally wrong.

That's how I feel too. I'm not trying to deny any rights they have or anything like that, if they wanna fondle each other's booty holes, then so be it; they're not harming me at all. But the fact that it's almost to the point where the media MAKES you accept that as normal, and if you disagree, YOU'RE the one with the problem is dumb as fukk.

It sounds irrational on the surface, but I think gays are as intolerant as those that oppose their lifestyle. If I don't embrace their lifestyle with open arms, there's something wrong with me and I get labeled; nah fukk that, they can do them, but that doesn't mean I have to go to gay rally's and support their lifestyle or I get called a "bigot" or "homophobe"
