why is it every non-E wrestler is compelled to hit the E?

I look at it like this...

Even tho' you might be grown up and you're a pro wrestler and you know all the internet stories and shoot interviews, and you know there's a chance you might not get the push you (or your fans) want, it's still worth the shot. And a lot of these guys probably grew up watching WWF and hoped as kids that they could someday wrestle at Mania or be in the Rumble- they were wrestling fans before they were wrestlers and that side of them wants to be there.

That to me is why no matter what CM Punk says, he's still the little kid who watched Rowdy Roddy Piper and idolized Savage, and he's still proud of what he got to do in WWE even if it ended badly.

The chance to prove themselves as a draw.

I dont think a talent like AJ goes to the E for just the money, i think he wants to show he can work anywhere.

I didnt mean athletically
I think AJ did need the money.
I thought these guys made money outside the E but only the lucky ones who got the guaranteed deals from TNA from spike got real money.
Kazarian and Daniels were talking about how they didn't even have money in their bank accounts and no insurance when they left TNA.
A lot of these cats are struggling and living check to check out of the E

Now I don't know what they get money wise in Japan, but it probably isn't enough to make you comfortable and start banking and saving without supplementation

If you're a top player in the Eredivisie you still would jump at the chance to be a bench warmer in the Premier League or La Liga

Heath Slater probably has a lot more money than Jay Lethal

All these guys grew up watching WWE. How could they not want to wrestle at wrestlemania or be in the royal rumble.

Zack Ryder won the IC title at wrestlemania in a ladder match...and lost it the night after and I'm sure that is the highlight of his life

Why are all non-NBA basketball players compelled to hit the NBA? No one WANTS to play for the CFL if the NFL is an option to them.

If you arent wrestling to make enough $ to retire, youre doing it wrong. Rock and Roll Express still has to wrestle into their 60s.

They're still wrestling because they blew all of their money on drugs, booze, and hookers.
