why is it pregnant women always hold there stomach when taking a photo

Because placing your hands anywhere else is weird for a photograph. They wont fold their arms because they feel its weight on the baby. Arms to the side is just whatever. Women dont put their hands in their pockets like that in pics. Holding the belly is a way they show they're excited and love their baby friend.

It's pretty simple. Most ppl don't necessarily know what they should do with their hands in photographs or feel like they must do something with their hands. That's why you see ppl throwing up gang signs, peace signs, and point in pictures while they're in the club. A pregnant woman however puts her hands on her stomach.

they hold their stomach to put attention on the fact that they are pregnant. the reason they do this is because they don't want people thinking they got big without being pregnant. probably a subconscious move too.

by holding their stomach, the pic goes from "hey look at that fat chick with the big belly " to "aww, look at the beautiful pregnant woman, she's glowing! "
