Why is it so fukking difficult to find a decent pair of jeans these days?

Somebody recommended the Levis 511 Slim Straights with the stretch denims in that Tru Religion bankruptcy thread but I just bought a pair and these shyts is fukking trash.

I sized up on these by the length and these still fit like garbage.

All tight around the thighs
Squeezing my nutsack
Have to fukking sag these to even have any sort of damn comfort.
Even Levis 501s don't fit the same way they used to. And I've noticed those don't nearly last as long as they've used to,

I've been noticing they've been making these jeans tighter and tighter to the point you got to size up to even have some room in the crotch and thighs...fukking garbage! This hipsterfied garbage is pissing me off!


Oh and before you me I'm 5'10 and weigh 176lb.

nikkas will be thinking that I'm coming up with conspiracy theories when I tell them there has been a gradual sizing down of jeans over the years and it's not because I've gained weight.
I've pretty much stayed around the same weight for the past 10 years.


The jeans just been getting slimmer and slimmer.
It's like now, can you even find a relatively baggy pair of jeans for purchase now?
This skinny/slimmed/fitted stuff is just getting mad uncomfortable.
If I can't cut a jig on the dance floor in my jeans at the club to some pumping house music, then no bueno

I thought I could work with these but can't. And the quality of denim is so flimy too...like the wash is cool, but I can tell even with the stretch denim levis uses on these they not gonna last long.

Technically I wear a 32/31 waist but I size up to 34 for comfort reasons.

I would always buy Japanese denims anyways...they last and you pony up the money for a nice 14oz + denim you can have that for years...just throw them in the fridge when you need to keep them intact.

funny enough, ppl stay asking me what kinda jeans i'm wearing. wont see asking them the same question though. why...because the quality of the shyt i got on is that much more noticeable that it prompts their question. that simple really

People think I'm playing when I say that too.

That's the best way to do selevedge denim.
Throw them in the freezer for extra effect
That way the denim doesn't bleed on your sneakers or socks
That way they retain their shape, stability and feel,
And when you put them on after they've been in the freezer..
