I just got into an argument with my wife and 18 year old daughter last night over this mind state .

My wife, son and daughter are on quarantine and I’m working remote from home. I suggested when I got off yesterday we watch The Wire. They’ve never seen it and I’ve been telling them to watch it for years.

I tell my son. He’s pissed off he has to get off XBox and come downstairs and watch the show with me but agrees. I get off work, work out, take a shower, make some popcorn, set up Season 1 and knock on my daughters door so we can spend family time together watching the show. She opens her door in full makeup putting on her earrings.

-me- “Where are you going?”

-her- “Mom said I can go meet my homegirls at the park and meet some guy that wanted to take me out”

-me- “But we are practicing social distancing and that’s not smart.

-her- “But it’s a beautiful day outside and I’m tired of being cooped up in the house.

So I got ask my wife.

I have to quarantine myself from the women in my family, because they can’t sit they ass at home for 2 weeks and read a book or watch Blu-ray’s. They HAVE to be outside socializing.

I don’t hate goin home. I just rather be at work making money than spending a whole day with her. I’m like that period though. I don’t like to spend all day with any broad. I don’t like arguments or unnecessary drama.

A lot of grown women still behave like little girls because of this.
