Easy for me to live because the alternative is to be a drunk or junkie...either way I pass on that shyt. No need to escape reality if you're happy

honestly, life is much easier when you stop assigning negative/positive titles to things.

I rarely drink unless going out, i rarely smoke after being a stoner for about 5 years.

But once u hit your mid-twenties you realize its all escapism if u cant stop. Just gotta find a healthy form of escapism that enhances your life. Replace a habit with a habit.

Yeah, its not much in my life that has meaning. Ive been fukking with music heavy, but its just a hobby. And its this tendency for me to want it to become more then that... shyt drives me insane. I miss the version of myself who thought he was going to be Kanye West. Because my life had meaning back then. But its still a good hobby, if I just make beats quickly and keep it moving, its a positive thing. But then Ill spend 8 hours trying to make a beat sound professional, and it will sound worse. Plus, I dont have the organizational skills to keep folders of extra samples, percussion etc. All the stuff that makes the great producers stand out.

Thats why music has become this frustrating thing. One day its a hobby and I dont give a fukk. The next day its everything

Its like that scene in enter the dragon where Bruce Lee fights the boss in a hall of mirrors. He doesnt know if hes swinging at a reflection or the villain

One Thing I Always Tell nikkaz:

Being a square (or nerd) isn't that bad. Sure a couple of clowns will act like you're lame (or c00nish) for it but really living a modest life that isn't famed by flashiness isn't really all that bad!

I feel like it gives leg room to live more personal experiences that aren't revolved around in the streets.

I do things that are extremely nerdy in private all the time. Nobody knows about them like that but it's just fun to privately enjoy some of the silly stupid unpopular things because in the end nobody cares and I was happy doing it.

But when others catch me out in the hood they don't see me as a square nerd but still me as the nikka like the rest of us who actually kind of be like saying of me as a wise little nikka who always down for the nikkas because we all bro's ready to hit the block make shyt shake up and happen.

So never think of being square as different from being solid. Think about it? Solid people stand on their squares!

Alot of these guys just afraid to admit that they're jealous that they can't get a life too.

Dude was basically saying stop letting social media clout dictate how you move and where you should be in life because it's only a downward spiral trying to appease people on the internet. In that thread you got people arguing saying they rather be broke and in debt chasing their dreams than to make a modest 40 to 50k with no debts because they can't live the type of lifestyle they want on that salary.

And alot of the people doing the most are the 25 and under crowd which means they don't know shyt but swear they have the whole world figured out at the tender age of 23
