Guess I'm just speaking for myself, and friends and coworkers of mine.

@Rusty Kuntz has a good point. Not seeing women at the gym means very little overall.

And they do enough just to say they worked out. I have only seen a few women really go at it in the gym. The rest just get on the treadmill or bike and talk with each other. If you can have a conversation you arent working hard enough. It seems like the gym is just a place to wear your workout clothes in.
