  • "I taught Becky or Brad to dance so they can sneak into the cookout"
  • "I knew you had soul"
  • "Maybe if I show them some moves, they can accept me into their world"
  • "Its not a black or white thing, its a dance thing"
Its a force mechanism to appease white folks into believing that we are not all dangerous stereotypes. Its just a gotcha move that's been going on since the beginning of time. The magical unicorn black friend trope that sadly becomes a factor into outing a cac for being a cac. While there are moments where its genuine like this white dude coming to my wife's families garage sale bumping SOS Band and copping most of the shyt on the table. Along with my old white co worker from a long time ago that had crohn's disease and he was more realer than some black folks I knew at the time. The fact remains that black folks seek desire of a white person's acceptance.

Its a sad cozy experience that needs to die a terrible death, because once the shyt creek through the afrocentric ideals...then the whole meaning becomes apparent that it's passing the torch of blackness to the enemy, rather than building up on our own strengths and values. It needs to be sacred but "BECKY GOT THEM MOVES I TAUGHT HER THAT" :krs:
