The correct answerThe question is,are there are black owned alternatives to mainstay brands and styles?
Folks buy stuff out of tradition. Black labels get shine, but they usually fall off because they are very trend oriented. I still have old Fubu clothes, but the shyt has FUBU in big ass
letters all over it. It was hot at the time, but I grew up and want my shyt simple and clean. Offer simple and clean, at the same or better quality as the major brands, but don't rape
me on the prices.
The only Black designer that I think is killing it right now is Virgil Abloh's Off White.
Kanye has been trying. Hopefully he breaks through with Yeezy Season 3.
LOL@Polo being done. Only on the Coli. Problem comes in when you market to an audience and not just people in general, That's the biggest flaw in black owned clothing,
And I care about what "hood nikkas" wear because why? I'm supposed to wear $400 jeans to get in a $400 car and go sleep in my girls or momma $400 section 8 house and eat food off of $400 food stamps. Okay cool, champ.I take back being done.. White people may still buy it.. Its not in style in the black community. It aint.. sorry
You might wanna put your shyt in storage and break it out on some vintage shyt in 10years![]()

Well if normal blacks don't wear Polo what do they wear?I mentioned NOTHING about HOOD nikkas.. nothing

I prefer Jerry Lorenzo's aesthetic as opposed to Virgil's. Some of his pieces are dope however. He needs to keep the huge logo's off so much shyt though.
H&M that cheapass bum store? GTFOH!dude, Im not gonna argue this. Polo just isnt the "go to" it use to be. Its much more variety out now. Polo is the dominant "department store" brand. Department store sales suffer becuz ONLINE shopping, H&M and Zara gave more variety. Polo no longer the "go to"...
You have eyes.. Im sure you can see that...

Polo has one market. It's a lifestyle brand. It's not urban. It's not really business. It's for people that play Polo. Preppy, technically sporty but not really. Affluent Americana.I don't see it like that. Polo can market to casual, business, sport and urban and it doesn't limit them.
