If you know how to shop polo is lowkee cheap as fukk. And nobody covets polo. nikkas covet Gucci and Burberry.
I guess I should have said hip hop clothing lines are trash. But all the black clothing lines I know of are hip hop.

Maybe you're the one who thinks black owned = inferior but im just being honest. I go out of my way to support black businesses but when I see trash I'll call it trash.
You're totally wrong. You got nikkas like Young Dro calling himself the POLO king. You got Kanye arguing with Sway because his clothing line "Wasn't Ralph Tho".

there will be a million excuses...but the reality is that we dont support black business....

Because people are sheep and if black businesses were all over the place or on TV or their favorite rapper started rapping about it. They would start buying it(i.e. RW, FUBU, ). They will buy it.

Has nothing to do with black and white just not many big black businesses with advertisement for the masses for these sheep to wear to be cool.

The only time I bought ralph lauren was a couple of suits. But, neely fuller said that when black folks get money, we spend it on items to impress other black folks. Also I see brothers who desgine clothing, I would support; but they just make t-shirts and I really do not wear t-shirts, I wear a lot of button downs shirts. Also they do not make my size; I have broad shoulders and those clothes are too tight around my shoulders, it's a blessing and a curse :to:.

If I had the time I would like to start my own clothing line of button downs, I already have a name for my line; just need to invest the time, but I'm changing careers.

Most men will rock what women
will let them get away with rockin.
go deep south and women will let
nikkas get away with rocawear and
southpole.........
I've stuck with my same shyt since middle
school for the most part.

polo tees,socks,draws,tailored levi 501's
and OG jordan 1's......I stick with my basics
and women seem to dig my unwavering vibe.

Karl Kani was ascending at the same rate as Tommy Hilfiger in the early to mid 90's. If nikkas stayed loyal to him like whites did TH he would have his own stores and shyt. Same goes for FUBU. nikkas treat black clothing lines like they do hot rappers, they fukk with them tough initially but then they move on to the next thing. White folk treat white clothing lines like they do rock and roll artist, they usually get lifetime run.
Breh, they are both around. They were hot because they were what black entertainers wore. You can't be blind to the correlation.
They simply fell out of style.

Those brands were known because they were hot with our idols. Its called advertising.
White-owned brands die every day, too. Asking us why people buy the most successful brands are like asking why people still buy Jay Z albums. He is proven. People are gonna buy
off name recognition alone. Thats how most shyt works. Its not that difficult.

The main reason that I wouldn't start a clothing line is because nikkas are so fickle when it comes to fashion. Gucci and Polo never advertised to us yet we have such brand loyalty towards those companies. You never seen a Polo Ad in The Source or XXL. We don't know who owns True Religion but I'm willing to bet its not a Black man. Sure a black clothing line can have a nice little run like FUBU or RW did but they're never mainstays like the white clothing lines are.

Jordans? Lebrons?

Because it's still popular. END OF STORY.
Why is it still popular? Name a black clothing line that nikkas have supported as long as they've supported Lacoste. Lacoste is a French company that has existed since 1933. Ain't shyt hip hop or flavorful about Lacoste and nikkas love it!!!!

nikkas are still brainwashed from systematic white supremacy, this is just another by product of that system. If we continue blindly following what Europeans tell us is cool than we'll end up seeing nikkas dressed like Jaden Smith.

Yup. Same reason people still drinking Bud Light in 2016. shyt is piss water and there are many better beers out there. But they been watching Bud Light commercials their whole life so that's what they pick when they go to the bar or liquor store.

These companies spend Multi-Millions on ads because they know these idiots are sheep.

I hate when some dumbass sees a commercial about a beer let's use "Shocktop" for example and ask me if I've tried it. Sheep I tell you sheep.

FUBU didn't fall off because they stopped advertising breh. White clothing lines don't have to advertise for nikkas to crave it. I never seen a Louis Vuitton advertisement yet if someone bought you a Louie shirt you'd be happy as fukk.
