he's having a hard time reaching the billboards?? Does being on a major really play a big role in it or is he really out of touch?? Why can't he use the same formula he had back in 03-05 etc.??

50 had his run dog, he's the business man's version of dmx, he had his time and banked crazy, nowadays he's just out here tryin to average 10+ points a game, his days of being the league's leading scorer are a wrap. 50 as a personality matters more than 50 as a musician, it's not even close.
He's out of touch and his fan base was artificially inflated from the arm cosign
His whole approach to solo music is wack. A lot of his music is recorded years before it comes out so its immediately dated. 50's at his best when he's rapping about a specific topic but he loves to put out generic "club bangers" that will never ever ever be played in a club in America.
The last 2 G-Unit EPs were great IMO cuz you can tell all of the non-50 members actually had input. He's like Rza now, he needs help but won't ever ask for it...

50 doesn't have the hunger. He didn't change with the music because he doesn't agree with the direction or he is too arrogant to have someone tell him to change. He should be having a career like a pop star, changing with the times and being a mainstay. But fif is fif. He doesn't care though, dude is business oriented and he is doing better than everyone except two people in 'hip-hop'.
