I'm not implying it's the ONLY way, but after this video was posted, I don't think she'll want to go anywhere near any social media, her Facebook wall is probably in shambles filled with comments making jokes at her expense.

So that's how we judge what is an appropriate punishment now? By which is WORSE for the kid? Which is worse, me slapping my son or me punching him with brass knuckles?

The question should be EFFECTIVENESS. If you can't punish your kid effectively without putting it on videotape then you're not fit to be a parent

I been in some of the worst of the worst environments in Black communities and have witnessed beatings like this happen before my very eyes on many occasions, they usually come after the talks have proven to be ineffective which is why the parent finally takes drastic measures because talking doesn't seem to work.

these situations are far more complicated than they appear to be on the surface, and it's gonna take more than Black men being in the homes to fix it.

criminals become criminals after committing crimes. selling drugs is a crime, and in this Black mothers household, being "grown" (behaving in ways that are too risqué for a child) is a crime, and she was sentenced to a beating for it.

Parents have to kinda wake up, and realize that their kids are not just keeping up with "friends" on facebook. Kids see their friends in school all day, what's the point in keeping in touch with them after school? They are just joking around, and actin up on their...bullying other kids or getting bullied.

So don't be surprised when ya kids are doin grown ish on Facebook behind ya back. Would you let 10 teenagers come to your house, and chill upstairs with the door locked if you were home? Multiply that 10 by 10, and that's what's goin on on facebook. How many beatdown videos of teenagers people gotta see because of Facebook beef to know kids will be kids, and push it to the limit on there. So don't try and be a parent, and regulate now, when you shouldn't even let them be on there. That shyt is just the pot being stirred after school, to just bubble over the next day at school, or for yall to walk in on ya kids doin some nasty ish.
