Its what @dio.nova.vvs.* said, NFL and NBA dont wanna have to pay for development of these players, NCAA is the minors and these teams dont have to pay shyt. They can do all the scouting they need and just pick from there. NFL probably needs a developmental league more than the NBA at this point since all you hear about is these dudes coming out of the draft never taking a snap under center or never really learning how to run block.
Baseball prospects are a crap shoot but at least they are being compensated while being developed. NFL and NBA also have the only drafts that get ratings and thats because we're familiar with these names from their time in college. Neither of those two would wanna give up their slice of the off season news cycle
