He's music been wack for a good 10 years. Relapse was dope but aside from that, it's been pretty bad

That said, I don't get how this site denies his 98-03 run. Pretty hard to deny. I'm guessing a lot of posters were still breastfeeding? Cause Em was everywhere

Anybody still listening to Eminem after the age of 17 is suspect

I think that depends on how old you are. It's one thing to say he fell off ect...but these cats talmbout they listened to him at 9 or 10 years old but don't like him now trip me out.

I was listening to MC Hammer and Kris Kross when was 9 or 10, I don't like them nikkas now either :mjlol:

By the time I got into rappers like Em I was pretty much grown and writing my own raps, the kind of shyt I gravitated toward was already accounted for.

Eminem in his prime was a really good rapper who never put together a complete project on the level of rappers he is routinely compared to. A lot of those records on the first 3 albums are straight up unlistenable today

He was floatin on that shyt, nochalant/laid back like he should sound most of the time too.

Take me back to that Relapse Era and I'm good :win:

If he took his flow back to Relapse time then I would listen again. I keep saying he needs to give that one straight up Hip Hop album that we deserve. Make it a double disc, one full of Relapse flows and storytelling ability and disc 2 can have features from all his heroes he's always talking about. Treach, Ice-T, LL etc. but only straught Hip Hop beats none of this pop shyt that sounds like it was made to played on phone speakers

First few years of his mainstream career were dope. His first two albums, the stuff on Dre's album, and features like Dead Wrong. Around 2002 when he thought he could make his own beats, eelverything went downhill

so a white person ain't never made you mad and you ain't never called him a peckerwood, cracker, or a pasty white fakkit? :stopitslime::francis:

shyt, we call white people on here at the drop of a dime, cac :mjlol:

plenty of white people done pissed me off and i'd went off and called them all kinds of names; white bytch, honky, unfunky honky etc etc

all i'm sayin' is that, WE ALL have done/do that shyt from time to time and anybody sayin' other wise is gotdamn liar

y'all nikkas we done all did that shyt before, stop frontin' :martin:

Look I see what you're saying, but I just do NOT feel that "everyone does it" shyt as an excuse or even an explanation for why people might behave in a racist manner.

That's the type of shyt I'm used to seeing from fukks like Trump and those Brexit a$$holes who are trying to drum up xenophobia and fear of immigrants and shyt, and I don't feel that. At all.

I never did. That excuse doesn't hold any weight. Justin Bieber got caught TWICE making anti-black remarks so it's obvious how he really feels.

I don't even believe his excuse about the black girlfriend.

:aicmon:

i don't believe the excuse about the "black girlfriend" either. i'm sure the truth is just made a racist tape over some stupid shyt like gettin' picked on or bullied and he recorded a tape of him sayin' racist shyt. but the whole "black girlfriend" shyt i think was just some shyt him or more than likely, his label came up

but lemme ask you this, if he was so racist why did nikkas like proof stood by him through it all, thick and thin? and i'm talkin' bout before he "made it". them 2 were the best of friends. i don't think eminem is racist however i think he's human and he made a bad and fukked up decision makin' that tape

Nah I gotchu man, I understand. Just touched a nerve, that's all :salute:

I still can't stand Em's music though :mjlol:
He's an elite rapper, in terms of mic skills, but damn if I don't just hate actually listening to his shyt

:salute:oh it's all good, i figured you knew what i meant and i understand completely where you was comin' from

as for as his music go, yeah eminem got a lot of goofball shyt to his music and i don't like a lot of it, however i get it because it plays up to his whole gimmick and the whole angle as the "crazy/class clown" white boy angle in hip hop. it's apart of his persona
