Em is genuinely loved in the black hiphop community. But he is worshipped in the white one. He is an amazing talent. But his music caters to the white fan. Where as other artist touch on topics that are more universal. Most black hip hop fans didnt do acid or shrooms or pop pills. White ones did. Mosy black hiphop fans didnt dig the serial killer genre that Em pushed...Whites ones did...Most thought songs lile cleaning ouy my clost and Toy Soldier were cool...entertaining even....buy ultimately out of touch and too soft. White fans gobbled that shyt up.
