We want that Chi town, soulful, ye you crazy for this one shyt
No we don't.
We want something we never heard, at least we REAL Kanye West fans.
We're not College Droupout fans, we are kanye west fans. We trust his creativity to come with something new that's crazy. His fans are not trying to hear repetitive music. You want his old shyt buy his old albums. MBDTF is a 5 mic album and WTT the best collabo album in recent hiphop history probably since Minstrel Show.

The worst thing about you dudes is choosing features, club tracks, group tracks and saying he fell of. When New God Flow might be harder and less commercial than anything on an album like Graduation.

You cats acting like The New workout plan wasn't on CD, like Breathe in breathe out wasn't there. Acting like you fools didn't cosign KRS when he said that Flashing Lights was straight sellout pop..

Kanye could only flip classic songs that almost are impossible to fail with, that you have to pay mad money to get clearance for. Now he can have 30 different musicians in the studio and create beats he never could. He's one of the few rapper and producers doing different shyt every time out and it being classic.

KOK, you speak for yourself and the people in this thread who agree with you. I started the thread and I speak for the people who understand his fall off.

We can agree to disagree my g but nah I think he's average as hell now compared to what he use to be

Dude basically admitting he's a fan of the man and not the music...Makes total sense now...

He can record himself pissing in a bucket and you would embrace it because of your trust of him as a person..

That's why you can't possible have an unbiased opinion on his new work...You don't listen to the music in a vacuum.. You're listenening to Kanye West the man...Anyone that tries to have a serious debate with you on music is wasting their time...

I'm a fan of the mans musical mind cause obviously 98% of his music is dope.
Im not a big fan of Kanye, he doesn't seem like a cat that I would wanna hang out with. College Dropout was a 5 mic album, and after that I want something else. I don't want another college dropout. I'm expecting music on about the same level of CD not sounding anything like CD.

I'm a fan of Nas's musical mind not Illmatic, I don't want 13 illmatics. I'm a fan of Jay-z's musical mind not Reasonable Doubt.
TROY might be my favorite rap song but I do not want 150 songs sounding exactly like TROY. I'm a fan of MLK not his I have a dream speech. So even though I'm a fan of these peoples "peak" moments (according to some) I don't want to hear them trying to recreate that shyt. I hope that they can create something new on the same level.

For some reason cats always have to spell shyt out for you like you just arrived with the latest rusty boat from Africa.

Sound sound sound
kanye innovates...yea he jumps on some typical, temporary poppin tracks as well just to please that crowd, or maybe he just likes some of that music as well?? shocking!!..but album to album, he does something completely different...thats not selling out, thats called moving on and growing up, thinking outside the box etc..aint nobody tryin to hear another song like "all falls down" from him, it was good for the time...but now with more money hes wearing like 75,000$ socks so it wouldnt even sound right hearing him saying shyt like "ive been workin this grafe shift, and i aint made shytttt"

Obviously you want 13 college dropouts.

CD is the only album from Kanye that fits that description.

It got 4.5 mics by the source, but in my opinion (the word you mentioned before) it was a 5 mic album. And 98% is an estimation of how much dope music he has, again the word opinion you mentioned.

Sold out for what and how??
Kanye has either always been a sellout, or he never sold-out.
You dumb nikkas reasons is cause he doesn't flip samples and rap about college anymore when he's 15 years past college.

These forum are getting too wack, a bunch of angry 4 eyed geeks coming here to hate on various artists. nikkas can't even come with compelling arguments to support their hateful claims. Cats are not even funny anymore

The Chi (South Side)
Downtown Durham NC Marriot hotel. May 2003 I think? Kanye was there, along with Foxy Brown's brother, and some other dude from Def Jam to judge an emcee battle.

Afterwards Kanye went to record a song with Little Brother, which can be heard on Chitlin Circuit 1. That was the only day I ever saw or hung out with him, but Little Brother did a small House of Blues tour with him I believe that year or the following year. Don't remember. They all have some more funny Kanye stories.

R u referring to the son "I see now"???

And it also happens to be his latest album, so on that note I'll let you comedians continue.

98% huh? Fan of his musical mind? WTF does that even mean?

Nas for example..

I'm a fan of Illmatic and IWW, not a fan of Nastradamus..

I'm a fan of Stillmatic and Gods Son, not a fan of Streets Disciple..

I'm a fan of Untitled and Lost Tapes, not Hip Hop Is Dead...

And this is probably my favorite rapper...This is how normal people process the music they listen to...You don't let an artist take you on a journey wherever they want you to go and you have blind trust in them because you love their "artistic mind"...I assume you're an adult...Think for yourself... Learn to listen to music in a vaccum...

Stop allowing your man crushes to make you throw out random numbers like "98% of his stuff is dope"..

You sound like a sycophant...

Any further response by you to this post is an admission to homosexuality...

Son.. I can't build/debate with a nikka who will make shyt up to prove a point. He just took a random ass percentage, claimed CD was 5mics than said it was 4.5 an MBDTF was five

Huh? nikka who mentione MBDTF? :snoop:

I could care less about the source in 2010.

Distant Relatives shyts all over that album.

What are you talking about? I believe that 98% of Kanye's music is dope.
I'm obviously basing that of his 5 albums, and I don't think a single song is less than dope. I can listen to every song from CD to the last song on MBDTF. Which is something I can't do with my favorite rappers. Probably just Kanye, Big and Dr. Dre. I might skip 1 or 2 songs.

You can process your music that way, I do too but unlike Nas Kanye doesn't have mediocre albums imo. And Kanye is not in my top 10 MCs, Nas is in my top 5. Kanye might have mediocre bars at times, but when he does on his own songs he finds ways to make the track dope.

And explain who exactly I sound like a sycophant? lol.

And yes I'm an adult, but far from 36 years old or whatever you are and I don't think your age has anything to do with how you choose to process music. I trust Kanye, on empirical evidence until the day he drops wack albums. Jay-z is my favorite rapper alive and I don't even trust him like I trust Kanye, cause if I go by the null hypothesis with BP3 being just okay chance are that his next album will be just okay.

I appreciate their artistic mind or whatever the word term is, just like I respect Lebrons skills. But that doesn't mean that Lebron can't play bad or that these artists can't drop weak music. A corny reference would be that it's like a gearbox, everyone has 1st gear but it's about the amount of gears you can reach.

Btw "admission to homosexuality" From a 40 year old dude acting wise :beli:
