Kanye is so ridiculously popular in America it isn't even funny. He is very influential over a lot of young people. I seriously laugh at how much people online try to paint him as this figure people just can't stand. Almost like he's OJ when in reality white people and America in general consume his art a lot. The guy is still selling out 100 dollar white t-shirts, shoes, and tours. The guy puts out any kind of album and millions are downloading, hundreds of thousands are purchasing, and everyone wants to see his tour. Of course he gets shyt on just like others have. Once he puts out another song or a Watch The Throne 2 itll be back to those hi fives and overall appreciation of his 'art' he thinks people are holding him back on. Remember what happened after 'George Bush hates black people' he rebounded and blew up more after that when it is a much bigger situation and a true white man with connections to crush him more than Jimmy fukking Kimmel of all people.

I think people want to paint him as a rebel to fill a void that was left by Public Enemy, Old Ice Cube, and Tupac from the late 80s and early 90s. The 90s babies just really don't have that figure and try to push Kanye in that direction when it just isn't true.

Wouldn't more coverage mean just as proportionate pick up of supporters than haters. He is covered more, after the Taylor incident, but ironically he gets more hate, that is all connected. TMZ covers him more because of Taylor.

White bloggers have pushed EVERY Kanye album, they are a small representation of the White population, if you could call a few 100 writers representative of the WHOLE White population.
