I think it has more to do with the fact that Black artist get shut out of awards in general. Kanye just chose that particular moment to implode. Kind of like Hurricane Katrina not being the first time government fukked over Black people.



You have to read between the lines with Kanye's actions. You can't assume each instance of him acting out is isolated, I'm sure it all builds up to a point, like with most people.
