It's hilarious. They always say he's the greatest yet they always act like he has no chance just to praise him even more.

Warriors starting lineup is made up of 1 top 5 pick. Cavs have two overall number ones and a number 4, but let the media tell it, and the warriors didn't earn anything

man...picks dont mean shyt
The point is the underdogs are the players who weren't appointed the hype and position. The warriors earned their position because no one expected them to. The Cavs SHOULD be champions, not the warriors

:mjlol:

breh you dont believe the bolded your damn self....

you really cant be serious claiming they should be champs off draft pick position

you the type of fool:

who believes the earth is flat

who believes gucci was cloned

and other shyt....

remember that katt williams joke about smart dumb nikkas? That's you :francis:

let vegas risk ENORMOUS money by labelling bron as the underdog against rockets or spurs so everyone could bet their money on bron winning the series and cash in :dead:
You must be 10 if you don't think Vegas involved or think Tim Donaghey was the only corruptable ref.

A Buckeye State Of Mind
Max Kellerman just said it Golden State is supposed to win so if LeBron loses it won't count but if he wins it does:mindblown:
Yeah that's fukked up. The cavs and warriors are both good enough to win it. Neither team deserves a pass for losing. And I don't think either team cares who is the favorite. It's not going to help those teams when they get on the court.

It's real disrespectful to his opponents as they never get the full credit they deserve for beating him fairly. They were doing that shyt when he was in Miami too and he was playing with arguably the second best player in the league at the time in Wade.

All the greats today in their respective sports, be it Brady; Mayweather (when he was still active); Messi; Ronaldo; Serena; Federer; Phelps; Bolt, etc. are always deemed the favorites no matter what the circumstances are, yet the media is always trying to push this underdog narrative for LeBron.

Why is he the only premier athlete in the worlds major sports that always ends up mysteriously being the underdog in every single match-up he's in?

Either this dude got the greatest PR machine of all time, or the fans really do not have as much faith in him as they portray...

The one man who has been "championship or bust" for the last 8 years is routinely painted as an underdog? :dead:
This is how you know the haters have completely lost their minds. How is being expected to make the Finals 8 years in a row and for the forseeable future being treated as an underdog? Anything short of a ring is considered a failure...in what world does that make you an underdog?

He's held to a higher standard than anyone else in the history of the game except maybe MJ in his last 2 years.

But since people are willing to believe that the Warriors or Spurs might have a better team this year: "Oh my god, why are ya'll making excuses for him". It makes no sense...

The same reason he's been on superteams for like eight years, the entirety of his prime... Yet perpetually always "needs more help"

take Lebron off these "superteams" that he has been on and substitute it with just league average production at the small forward position.. how many of them make conference finals, finals or win a chip?

I'll wait

No bullshyt. I find this fascinating

He's a top 5 talent all time. Arguably top 3. Has a pretty great squad around him and yet is expected to lose every year in the finals. This year in particular if the Warriors make it. Even if they don't, I'm sure Vegas and the media will label him an underdog against either the Rockets or Spurs

Is this all an elaborate ploy to boost his legacy or what? :patrice:

YOU ANSWERED YOUR OWN QUESTION

U THINK MJ OR KOBE ON THIS SQUAD WOULD BE CONSIDERED UNDERDOGS?

:mjlol:

Brady was underdog in multiple Super Bowls. Same as every player in a team sport has been an underdog before.

It's a legit question

OKC, Spurs twice and presumably the Warriors all 3 times. You don't find it odd how a goat candidate is constantly downplayed like this? I never saw MJ play but the way nikkas talk about him I'd assume he was the flat out favorite every year

Kobe for example got hammered by the Celtics in 08 yet was considered the favorite in the rematch despite struggling to beat 8th seeded OKC and the Celtics making easy work of the Magic and Cavs

If that was LeBron he'd be a huge underdog

MEDIA CONTROLLS THE MINDS OF THE MASSES BY DOIN STUPID SHIIT LIKE THIS

THE SHEEPLE FALL FOR IT EVERY TIME

Nobody is painting him as anything, the Cavs will be playing a team with 4 all-stars including two top 5-10 players and arguably another top 15 all-around player.

How the fukk aren't they the underdog? :gucci:
cuz cavs stans and bron brigaders that's why you see how they talking in these threads now let them lose it's gonna be "but but but we were supposed to lose...yall really expect us to beat KD AND STEPH...bron got no help"

tell me im lyin.....general consensus tho....yeah GSW gettin them the fukk outta here :mjlol:

I think Brady is usually favored in the Super Bowl. But this brings up an interesting point. Most other all time top level greats have played for great franchises with great coaches/GMs etc. Like Belichek, Phil Jackson, Red Auerbach, Bill Walsh etc

Bron is like Peyton Manning where he IS the system. So its not always surprising when he gets beat by a better system. Like they say, organizations win championships not players...

Bron has to fail miserably in the Finals for the media not to have any excuses for him. If it was up to the media the 07,14 and 15 Finals would be wiped off his record clean and not counted against him.
