This is how you know the haters have completely lost their minds. How is being expected to make the Finals 8 years in a row and for the forseeable future being treated as an underdog? Anything short of a ring is considered a failure...in what world does that make you an underdog?

He's held to a higher standard than anyone else in the history of the game except maybe MJ in his last 2 years.

But since people are willing to believe that the Warriors or Spurs might have a better team this year: "Oh my god, why are ya'll making excuses for him". It makes no sense...

We have reached a point where logic, relevance, even coherence no longer matter. Literally anything can be used as a knock against Bron. And no we have never seen a person this accomplished still carry the "championship or bust" shyt. An entire generation of stars has gotten and is currently getting a pass all because of him. Seriously KD choked alongside a top 5 player then jumped to the team he choked against (that won 73 games the year before) and people still found a way to bring it back around to Bron . Magic played in 9-Won 5
Jordan played in 6-Won 6
Kareem played in 10-Won 6

Lebron played in 7- Won 3

Kobe for example got hammered by the Celtics in 08 yet was considered the favorite in the rematch despite struggling to beat 8th seeded OKC and the Celtics making easy work of the Magic and Cavs

You do know that many didn't have MJ bulls favored when they played magic and the lakers in the 1991 finals and in 93 vegas had the suns favored over the bulls in the finals (at that time no one had 3 peated since bill russells celtics).

Also lebron has only had home court in 2 finals out of the 7 he has been in. Normally the team with home court in the finals is favored because they have the better record.

But go on OP lets not let facts get in the way of a good thread.

All I know is the only years anyone with sense truly believed LeBron's team was the best in the league were the first 2 Heat years and Maaayyybe year 3 as well. The only time I can recall that a LeBron team lost to a squad it was as good as or better than was to that Mavs team and maybe that 2010 Cavs team that last to the Celtics

the lakers were the favorite because the celtics looked completely washed in 2010. they had a horrible regular season, but of course being the prideful vets they were, pulled it together enough to make it back to the finals. the cavs were still a one man team, and the magic have never matched up well with the celtics. they only beat them on 09 because garnett was out with injury.
