Why is Lil Baby’s arena tour flopping? Is it too soon for him?

These artists are cornering themselves.

:patrice: It may even be a deliberate conspiracy by white labels to insure "street rappers" never challenge pop acts again.

You're only going get so big making the type music they do! They're not even trying to use the blueprint that was common in the 90s where you might be a street rapper, but you make sure you have 1 or 2 sings with broad crossover appeal. A radio safe jawn.

These jits are making entire albums with no fukks given of straight gutter, profane, music. They'll only capture a sliver of the potential fans.
There's no need for a crossover song when there's no difference between the hottest song on urban radio and the hottest song in strip clubs, on top of the fact that these songs lack conventional structure and/or variety.

Shultz already addressed it. You only talking to 12% of the population when you are doing street hip hop.

These white folks don't even know who Lil Baby or Lil Durk is.

The reason why Drake can fill out because he talks to everyone.

Lil Baby is exactly like Olivia Rodrigo. You ask two sets of people if you heard their music and one party is going to look at the other like they are crazy. You live two differently completely different lives that never overlap.

That's false because every black person does not listen to lil baby or lil durk

Schulz really loves to puts his fukkin foot in the back of his throat, because that's the most idiotic shyt ever

Black people being 12% of the population is such a low thought answer, in what universe does that make any sense?

Lil Baby does not have as much mainstream appeal but the reason why is much more nuanced than only black people make up 12% of the population and every single one of us listens to Chicago drill rap

Y'all gotta stop listening to dumbass Schultz breh

Meanwhile Nelly is currently selling out in middle America

I feel like legacy acts are a protected species. Nelly's fanbase I'd imagine are older folk who have far more responsibilities, but would make sure reserve that date when Nelly comes to they town and just get someone to watch the kids. So while he may not tour as often as Lil Baby, when he does tour, it sells.

Because he's a feature artist in all honesty. His solo material isn't stadium/concert music, its strip club and small hood club music.

Had he rode his activist wave that he quickly denounced in order to keep his credibility, he could have dropped an ep/album and crossed over and these tickets would be way up.
