Why is Lloyd Banks so unanimated?

Always wondered this myself. I mean he has a tat that says "Lazy Lloyd." On the very first dvd that came out with GRODT 50 said people would think Banks didn't like them because he never talks. In interviews I agree with you, he looks medicated or just really sleepy. I dunno man. Maybe he's just really chill? Even when he's rapping he's basically expressionless.
I used to think his old videos set in clubs were hilarious. You could tell he really didn't wanna be in front of the camera like that. Doesn't even seem like the type of dude to enjoy clubs to be honest.

I don't care how he feels about fame. If he's not enthusiastic about his music why should anyone else be?

But to be honest it's refreshing that a guy like banks doesn't care about fame and you can tell he really loves hip hop genuinely as an art form. You don't see that or get that feelings from most these rappers right now.
I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't leave his house a lot of the time and just writes raps in his room.

I'm a huge Banks fan, and this isn't meant as a slight at all. But tons of people are introverted that don't come across like he does. Introverted people have lots of false stereotypes about them. Like people think extroverts are shy, or don't like to be around big groups of people, or aren't good at public speaking, that they're quite, or more creative---none of those are necessarily true, and being those things doesn't even make someone an introvert.
To be honest, a lot of Banks demeanor reminds me of someone on the autism spectrum. Like if he wasn't such a man whore I'd think he had asperger's syndrome. I don't think he has it, because people with asperger's are usually not very good at picking up on social norms or social cues, but again harping back to the fact that he's fukked hordes of women and seems pretty normal when he actually does speak, he doesn't seem to have those problems.

nikka, I'm talking about in the music itself. A lot of rappers are lowkey, but why is this nikka lowkey in his music? Snoop, for instance, is one of the most laid back rappers but I've never felt that he lacked enthusiasm in his music.

Is he enthusiastic about his music though? I'd argue he isn't. He literally will announce a project is dropping in a few hours, then he drops it and goes radar silent again for another year or two. He doesn't hype up his music, do interviews, or music videos.
He reminds of GSP (Georges St-Pierre) who is the best welterweight MMA fighter of all time. His coaches said that he loved training and sparring in the gym, but that he hated fight night every single time he walked into the octagon. His passion was in the work it took to be a champion and working to be the best every day. But actually going out there and defending the belt didn't excite him, and he sometimes even dreaded it.

Banks comes off as a fella who is more or less pissed off at the current social media whore state of the game. Nothing about Banks seems off. He is clearly a laid back fella who plays is smooth. Its just hyphened cause he is constantly around loud mouth over the top alpha males and characters like 50, Buck n Yay.
If Banks was in a group with Fabolous, Juelz n Vado or something he would prolly come off more normal.
