So what’s the plan next?
Foreal, they definitely trying to fukk you out of what they should be giving you with bullshyt warranty terminology.
Is that site they’re using listed as a site that they use to evaluate trade-in value? If not, you should fight it for them not using more something more standard and official. Like Kelly Blue Book.
I had an extended warranty on my Avalanche and when the transmission started tripping, I called them up to fix it and of course, they said shyt like “it wasn’t covered”.
I said fukk it, canceled and never bought another Extended warranty again. Got a 2017 Camaro that I should probably cover but not even worried about it yet because of how shady these nikkas are. Learning this with home ownership too. They want your money but don’t really want to do shyt.
140K is a lot of miles breh. Did you do the car fax or take it to a mechanic to get it looked at? 5K isn’t bad at all though, but they definitely will need to give me my 2,500 at the least, to get that transmission fixed. My last transmission cost about 5k to repair…
I’m curious because my nephew just bout his first car, 2012 in a similar condition you described. No issues yet but at 130k miles on a 150k mile engine is pushing it to me. It’s a German car tho
