You're not supposed to date older women, especially older women that used to get a lot of attention for their looks. She probably still thinks she's that same video vixen from 20 years ago, With the same attitude and everything. Just like with the other older black female entertainers, the men know that they can do way better than them, but the women aren't aware of it.
Another thing is, she's used to dating multi millionaires. Women have difficulty taking steps back in anything they do. They see it as a regression. At this point, it would be hard for her to make it work with a six-figure dude, much less a dude that makes less than that. Her pool is limited to a bunch of dudes that have WAY better options than her.
She would rather take an L and stay single, then settle for a dude that is below her standards. She has the connections and resources to build an ambitious dude from the ground up, but women don't care to do that these days. They just want to meet you at the top
