Why is Monty Williams still coaching the Pelicans?

He's been coaching the Pelicans for 3 years now with no playoff appearance. This year he had his most talented team and traded away their 1st rounder. It should have been a make or break year for them. Why is he not been rumored to be replaced? Stan van Gundy would have been a good replacement

He seems like a good coach :ehh: They gave him a young squad that was plagued with injuries. Realistically firing him would only be a negative, because that team (besides reke cause he doesn't seem to give a shyt) will all gel and grow into a solid team in the future.

Unless they sign Byron the GOAT :blessed:

Meh, He did have alot of injuries but he did made questionable decisions and lineup selection in a close games that had me :dwillhuh:

Next year is basically do or die for Monty. Demps, on the other hand, should've been :camby: by now.

Monty is done in my eye. Have a top 5 player and can't string up 3 straight wins, brehs.

Demps is the second worst GM behind Billy King.
