He's been coaching the Pelicans for 3 years now with no playoff appearance. This year he had his most talented team and traded away their 1st rounder. It should have been a make or break year for them. Why is he not been rumored to be replaced? Stan van Gundy would have been a good replacement
This team is not talented and its horribly constructed. That's not his fault and its not his fault they traded their future and gave EG a max deal

It's better to build a young team with a more or less "young" coach and have them grow together.

New Orleans only has problems with how they decided to build their team, they built a core full of young unproven players and hoped for the best.

A good defensive minded coach and seems like a players coach....he seems clueless offensively though......i would give him some more time he's still a young coach whose workin with a roster full of holes.....

Monty Williams is a bad coach but Demp is a whole bigger problem. This dude really constructed this team as if he's playing 2k. You trade THREE straight 1st round draft picks?! All of them being lottery picks. You trade for Asik when you could have had Nerlins Noel and a much cheaper contract. You have Gordan, Holiday, and Evans who are all inconsistent and injury prone and you should have been trade one of these for a wing player.
