Its subjective..the artists you mention are more popular with the current climate of rap music.

Noody is banging Mac Miller in the whip in the hood..

Nor is rhythmic radio playing or supporting Mac Miller.

I only heard that Dang! track with Anderson Pakk but it sounded excellent. I'm definitely gonna check for it. Seemed like he really pushed his whole sound forward.

Is it because the songs have a concept? Is it because it's DAMN GOOD musically? Is it because he can actually rap? I'm so confused right now...half way through the album, it's definitely one of the best albums this year.
