i always believed the Hof was important to Rose, but you look at guys like Pinella, La Russa, and Leyland have all left the game recently. Pete would've been managing for the last 25 years, I believe. He may get the HOF but cant ever get those years back.

Pete Rose didn't admit to actually betting until he wrote a book in 2004.I think if he is let in he shouldnt have a ceremony/speech. All star game is in Cincinnati and I can see Pete Rose being let in around this time.Shoot even Nixon got pardoned by a sitting/outgoing President if im correct

The best part about the whole thing, is he signed the damn papers agreeing to the lifetime ban. If I was the Commissioner, every time he begged to be let in to the Hall, I'd just bust out those papers, point to the bottom line, and ask him if his signature was forged. Of course, being the scumbag that he is, he'd probably lie about that too.
I hope Manfred isn't stupid enough to let him in.

I know in many non-elite soccer leagues it's perfectly fine betting on your sport as long as its not your team to lose. Furthermore it's perfectly fine for teams to give 'incentive' packages to teams that lack motivation who are playing against the giving teams rivals
