This was early to mid 2000's and all my life that I've been around Jamaican's (I have Jamaican family/Half Jam-Afram aunts and uncles and my best friend is a Jamaican dude who came over here when he was 10 and we've tight for over 20 years) I've never noticed any funny style shyt. I can't find the article right now but the article was basically about more affluent or middle class Aframs who are leaving the USA and living in West Africa. Im sure if you compare that small amount of Aframs to the masses of West Africans the numbers are going to be skewed heavily in favor of the Aframs
Im not going to turn my nose up to the West African natives because a tiny amount of self selected people from my ethnicity within their nation(s) are more educated/better economically better than their masses (average) but that's exactly what many of these black immigrants be on
