But can someone explain why a man raping another man is so acceptable amongst the other prisoners in america? lets leave aside the inaction of the prison authorities and government for a second. I often get ex cons in the UK at my gym signing up for a while, then they break the terms of their probation and get send back,but thats another discussion. Anyway... I get chatting to them about what it's like in prison. Actual prison rape,none of them really ever heard of it.,if you deem rape by taking a mans ass by force. There were occasions where someone used their ass or mouth to pay off a debt in prison, there is other homo shyt going on, but what is interesting is the attitude about a prisoner who rapes another in there. I remember one of the guys telling me, he was in a higher security prison and there were rumors about a prisoner who raped another . And the guards had to put him in the protection wing because a 'contract' was put out on him in prison by the inmates who ran the wings. I also read a book about a guys time in several uk prisons ,and one prison rapist got shot in the stomach when he got out of prison by gangsters for rape.
So the question I have is ,why do american prisoners not get so disgusted with prison rapists like they do with child or women rapists for instance?
