I used to say no, but if I was ever a coward that didn’t want to raise my son, I couldn’t Look down on the man who wants to.

Now trying to be some kids father who already has a father in their life and being used as a pawn by a spiteful woman to spite a man? That’s trash.

Being a father to a kid who doesn’t have one is honorable, and a great thing to do.

Cognitive dissonance maybe? It's an interesting question, considering some people here probably had a strong father figure who was a stepdad, and that is what ended up impacted their lives for the better. I doubt those posters would disparage doing this though.

A lot of guys see it as a weak consolation prize.
They couldn't pull the woman until she got played and knocked up by another guy who didn't want to stay around.
It seems like a semi-reward for the woman for her poor decision making.
In reality all kids need two loving, stable parents in their lives.
I personally wouldn't want to be a step-parent, I'd prefer adoption and marriage to a woman without baggage like that, but kudos to men out there making sure kids have a loving father/father-figure

Yes I mean if she got one or two kids nothing wrong with dating a woman like that if u have no kids.

Now if she got three or four kids it's different cause she may not want to have anymore kids.

Because you are literally taking the responsibility of another nikka and you don't get paid for it. I ain't wifing no women who has children. If she has children should should be with the father of that child.

The only time it's acceptable to play step daddy is if the children are old enough to be out of the house or if the father of the children died.
