Ross is trying to avoid fueling 50's momentum/name.

He's addressed the Jeezy situation because Jeezy is still hot. 50 last album was 3 years ago if he entertains the chit with Fif he will heat up Fif's name again, which he does not want (though 50 is quite relevant/visible for such a long mainstream absence IMO).
