So your answer is not to improve the institution, but rather weaken it further and facilitate more kids dropping out... which would make those proficiency numbers plummet even more.

Got it.

:heh:

I thought you would approve of this because you're a free-thinker or whatever bs you fashion yourself as this week....

1) All it would just lead is a growth of the under educated or flat out uneducated who would then become a bigger drain on society.

Again, why should kids have to suffer because they have shytty parents? 2) Shouldnt society be able to step in in the case of gross negligence of minors?
1. i dont believe this would be the case long term
2. it has by offering public schooling. Taking over for parents in my opinion does more harm to society than good.

Indeed...I didnt say i gained nothing from it...i learned a few good things..Enough to work a cash register, operate machinery at a factory or apply to a college for some further indoctrination.
They also taught me how to be part of a herd..stay in line..dont be disruptive..sit quietly for hours..... I have to say for a 12 year project thats not much

The question is what they didn't want me to learn..Like how to think....analyse..find truth..Understand how the world really works...how to properly research..

and what they took away from me in the process of "standardization"..creativity....intuition....individualism
Don't pretend you went :mjlol:
