Why is Skyrim modding so damn annoying??

I was trying to follow this guide beginners_guide - skyrimmods
but shyt is just stupid, dude wrote a damn book to explain it. Do i have to follow all those steps? I thought i would be able to install it all in 30 minutes but it's taking way too much time.

it depends on how deep you wanna go. you can just install a few mods, and/or just use the Steam Workshop

but if you plan on installing 100's of mods, than you do have to worry about conflicts, load-order, etc

I think it's better to just get into it slow with a few mods. then you can kinda see how it works, and go from there. most of the mod managers will handle the more complicated things for you

i learned the hard way...youre essentially going to have to make a day out of modding. at least a few hours

its pretty rewarding though

first thing i suggest is make sure you have all the expansions. that will cut out a lot of guesswork

then just go down this page, make sure you read each mod page carefully breh

I have the legendary edition, do i have to install the normal patch too?
There's the 3 dlc's patches, the legendary patch and the normal version patch.

No you can disable the vanilla patch
