Why is soccer the world's sport?

americans in here trying to cut down soccer matches to 45 min
acting like EVERY soccer match ends in 0-0
acting like a 0-0 soccer match does not have more action than a baseball match
say what you want, soccer...i mean football is still no. 1 worldwide,bytches!!!

It ends in penalties...i'd advocate for an american league to scrap the offside rule though

basketball, soccer, football, rugby can be entertaining to watch ...

I dont think its culture. Looks like cricket was developed in england and then brought over.

they should play what their ancestors played or come up with their own sport

That is culture though, no?

You can influence a culture so much it can be ingrained into your own.

I'm a GMan too, so no hate against American football. I love it, but fully understand why it is not a global game.

There are multiple forms of cricket which shorten matches down to about 1-2 hours and therefore increase the excitement levels. I was at a cricket match last week that was about 1.5 hours.

it'd be stupid to cut offsides in soccer. Thats like cutting offsides in football.

This is a joke right? HandEgg is not an Olympic Sport maybe because it is just a contest of commercials... True Football is an Olympic Sport because it is a real sport. Football players doesn't have the necessity to compete in the Olympics because they compete in the biggest sports events (World Cup, Euro Cup, UEFA Champions League) and they are the best paid athletes in the World.

Football players play a lot of competitive tournaments, basically the most competitive tournaments in the World, they don't have time to waste in those boring Olympics Sports unlike HandEgg players that just play that stupid NFL tournament for 2 months and then they are scratching their balls for 10 months... looking for jobs.

Why are you on an American website then?
