rappers be tatted up like white bikers these days

who's making songs like this nowadays tho? And the ones actually making "politically charged/pro-black rap music arent the same ones out here shytting on Iggy and Macklemore. The difference between then and now is that they weren't doing it because they disliked white artists. Hip Hop was a vehicle for changed and challenged America to do better by holding a mirror to it. Songs weren't being made with the intent of "oh, let me record this song to offend whitey". It was the result of the pain and anger from years of oppression that wasn't expressed in any other genre like it could be in Hip Hop. We didn't have a voice because our leaders were gunned down and there was music that captured it, but the way Hip Hop did it was more "in your face", but also poetic. It actually became a voice to generations that didn't/don't have a Malcolm X or MLK.
For the past 2 days all i've been seeing is this back and forth racially and politically charged shyt. This is the booth. Take this shyt to the locker room and let's get back to the music.
Thanks.
Sorry bruh, running and hiding from the real shyt happening in the world and ignoring the elephant in the room is not the business.

What's discussed on The Coli is petty, childish garbage particularly because they dislike a handful of artists. I don't even think it's even about the culture more so than it is about how posters personally feel about certain artists. "Culture" is something that's thrown out there to make it all look genuine.
nobody is speaking out against white artist simply because we don't like them. The issue at hand is the blatant diluting, overcomercialization and white washing of hip hop and hip hop culture. What part of that don't you understand.

Iggy, Macklemore, anyone considered a culture vulture, etc. The message is being missed. For example, J. Cole's verse mentioning those artists on "Fire Squad" got more attention than the message that he was sending. Some cheered him on for "ethering" those artists while others criticized him for saying it was joke. The message wasn't even about the artists that he mentioned. It was bigger than that. You are speakin some bullshyt right now.nobody is speaking out against white artist simply because we don't like them. Iggy is a prime example of this. Not to mention her racially insensitive remarks on Twitter over and over have rubbed many black artists/fans the wrong way.
And nobody is making songs to "offend whitey"
Newsflash, black people in 2015 DONT even use the term " whitey"
Are u white?
There's no sense in denying it because it's exactly what it is. Posters who discuss have no idea what they are talking about because they are mostly mentioning the music. I don't see people mentioning how the other elements of Hip Hop are being white washed, diluted, and overcommercialized. Culture is bigger than just the music.
Newsflash, nobody is using the term "whitey" in 2015 because nobody has made it to 2015 yet. LOL. It's just a word.
I'm not white, but it seems something about the word "whitey" affected you in some type of way. Maybe it's because you're white.

I didn't wanna say racist.
