Why is the College Football Playoff losing viewers?

How hard is it just use 5 conference champs and a wildcard?


That is just basic playoff knowledge.what u need a comittee for? Stop tryna put in the team that is paying you money under the table.


College football is beyond corrupt.

5 conference champs and 3 wild cards solves everything. If there are two strong teams in the same conference you can account for that as well as allow a non power 5 school in if they are highly ranked. Don't give me the school excuse either because somehow basketball students make it work. Plus the football playoffs would be during the time between fall and spring semesters.

I see your point, but do you really think a 4 loss USC is going to beat a 1 loss UGA or whoever in the playoffs. It's an anomaly and I'm sure the overall results will trend to the mean. Plus, if a regular season champ is losing to a much worse conference opponent, then that's on them.

8 team playoff, consisting of Power 5 conference champions and 3 Group of 5 champions with the best record.
That would automatically disqualify Notre Dame

No college football aint special. Treat it just like every other sport including dvision and 3 football.

If you win you win. Who cares. They deserve it. Dont try to leave some deserving team out for some big name team just because you think it would be a better matchup.

Not a single sport operates that way except div 1 football. Hell div 1 basketball dont even do that. They encourage cinderellas thats what gets people to tune in.

Ncaa football is afraid of cinderellas and they winder why viewership is tanking
