House Party - 1990. This was the tail end of the New Jack era. People actually danced a lot in clubs. And Kid N Play we’re known for dancing.

House Party 2 - 1991. The New Jack era was over. Hip hop was more pro black and conscious.

House Party 3 - 1994. This was a pure money grab. The hip hop landscape had changed drastically and it didn’t really fit with the other two.
