For as long as I have been involved in electronics and home media Disney is the king of holding ridiculous retail pricing damn near forever.

Because Disney doesnt let their good movies sit around and drop in price. Once a movie has been out for a while they take it off the market and place it in the "vault". That's why you couldnt buy a US Blu Ray or DVD of Lion King for a long ass time before last year. Hell they just brought Aladdin back two years ago.
