Why is the media making McHale such a big sympathetic figure in all this?

Real talk, Mchale shouldve been fired two seasons ago off of Lillard. I know its easy to feel sympathetic for him especially when howard and harden are two of the more dislikeable nba persona's currently but its getting overkill now.

Mark Jackson did more with less and when he got fired no body felt it was unjust or unfair but it was just his time. Monty williams got the pels to the playoffs with Davis missing a lot of games after he was given an ultimatum to get to the postseason or lose his job. He did just that and still lost his job and there was national outcry for that injustice like there has been for McHales.

Mchale underachieved with more and yet nobody is blaming him. I really dislike the fact that the media want to act like they know the rockets when these a$$hole inaacurately want to give all the credit to McHale for getting to the wcf last season. Ppl who have that opinion did not observe our squad last season. McHale aint do shyt but sit back and benefit frok a mvp caliber season from his star. It was harden bailing this guy out... harden was routinely the highest rated 4th quarter in the nba the last 2 years, and would hit gamewinners and impossible shots off of isos. Mchale spent four years here and never once demonstrated the ability to even know how and when to use a fukking timeout.

1. The bold
2. Kevin McHale is basketball royalty. Remember the Lakers and Celtics "saved the NBA" and he was the 2nd best player on the Celtics.

At the end of the day tho, regardless of who the coach is, it's hard to defend a team quitting like they did on him

mark jackson did more with less? his team reached won the finals the year after he left with almost no major upgrade on the roster.

y'all cry about mark jackson too much when he alienated his assistances and not even all his players liked him. he held it against players that didn't want to do his church shyt. :what:

mark isn't and wasn't that great of a coach. monty got screwed though. his roster was constantly injured and he still had them winning games. same issues this year and they're 1-10.

Nobody is questioning why the team quit on mchale. The reason a team quits on coaches is because they usually believe he's inept at what hes suppose to do or dont believe hia strategy is conducive to getting them to the finals.

Poitn black, this roster didnt believe in Mchale as a coach. Its the same reason Lowry wanted out of houston. 3 didnt believe in McHale as a coach and didnt want to listen to him. You ever heard mchale post game presser. He didnt even sound sure of him damn self
