Nobody is questioning why the team quit on mchale. The reason a team quits on coaches is because they usually believe he's inept at what hes suppose to do or dont believe hia strategy is conducive to getting them to the finals.

2. Harden and Dwight are two of the most irrationally hated players in the League. Harden has played zero defense this season up until yesterday night. He's the main culprit yet I see idiots like Wilbon & SAS blaming Dwight the only one that gave a damn this year.
3. Morey. Another hate figure in the NBA.
4. Name recognition. McHale's been in the League in one form or another for what? 30-35 years?

Because i understood the notion that we got better when let parsons walk and replaced him with ariza who was just as good of a fit next to harden. The biggest reason ppl said we fall off was because of the parsons-ariza transactions and bosh not signing with us.

If you didnt pay attention to the rockets of course you didnt understand the high potential for DMo to have a brakeout season when houston fans been saying he had next.

Rockets success last season had very little to do with him. They somehow finished 2nd in the West despite having the 5th best SRS take a wild guess why?

Harden probably got tired of his incompetency and intentionally tanked the season. Can't be a coincidence they finally kept a team under 105 this season the day he got canned despite shooting like complete shyt for 3 quarters.

Last season you basically had ONE elite ball-handler/shot creator surrounded by inconsistent three-point shooters, who have trouble creating a shot for themselves and the team (Ariza, Beverly, Terry, Smith and Brewer) with your best big man on the sideline for half the season. Shouldn't the blame be on Morey for not getting players who can create their own shot and create for others, rather on the coach for doing his best with less than ideal pieces?

The Rockets aren't the Spurs, they don't have an array of shot creators. To think that they should be operating on that level on the offensive end is ignis fatuus.

The main reason was because yall had a top 5 defense for 90% of the season. Even despite Harden's poor start to the season and inconsistent offensive outings throughout the season (as a team), yall still continued to win games because of yall defense.
