It's not about being in favor of that type of style, the point is that it gave them the best chance at winning games. They didn't have another ballhandler that could split near-equal duties with Harden, like they previously did with Parsons and Lin. Harden may come crashing back down to earth in the playoffs, but it's not like they have a better option. So now you're in favor of the isolation thing and not ball movement?
Harden chokes in the playoffs, so move the fukking ball around before he chokes the entire game away.
Mchale was basically this guy:

The only reason he lasted this long is because of the tragedy with his daughter.
And it's not about isos, it's about him working off the PnR and finding open teammates behind the arc or finding his big men when the defense collapses. It's certainly not the most effective offensive scheme, but it's the most they can do with the personnel they have.
Not every team can move the ball like the Spurs [who have a handful of shot creators], you have to work with what you've got.

at the monty williams thing. The team is hot garbage with an extremely talented young player. It took the Spurs tanking a game for them to get in and get swept like punk bytches.
