Because the media needs Bron to be relevant forever since he's a cash cow. The media ain't asking for Melo to get help, or PG to get help in Indy. They ain't saying Washington is a couple pieces away, or Toronto should tool up. It all circulates around what Bron needs. Media saying these guys need to go play with LeBron so he can fulfill the legacy they so desperately want him to have!

What I really want to know is how can people still be upset at KD for going to Golden State because they beat him, but want Paul George to play with a guy that has owned him almost every time he's been to the playoffs (2012, 2013, 2014, 2017). KD played the Warriors in the playoffs once in OKC. If we questioned KD's competiveness for going to GS, shouldn't PG get the same treatment?

I know it technically wouldn't be the same scenario since PG would be traded so it's not "his choice" but I don't like how we're changing the agendas just so Lebron can get more star help, and this is coming from someone who roots for LeBron. We complain about GS being unfair but having Kyrie, Lebron, and PG on the Cavs isn't? That's 3 of the best players in the East right there. It's bad enough that the finals are already set in stone at the start of every season but we wanna make it even worse by putting PG on the Cavs over teams like Washington, Toronto, Boston that could at least make it an interesting discussion?

Its disgusting. The fact that the discussion of was miami a superteam when it was only 5 years ago is going on shows how much the league dyck rides him. The only differentlce this time around is that durant is a Nike guy so that money isnt backing a narrative against gsw. They had his commercial cut and edited ready for the last minute of that game
