but the sport of basketball just isnt as good as football

cuz outside of a few players, the NFL promotes it's brand and the teams over individual stars.

pretty much the opposite of the NBA.

That really doesn't have that much to do with it...

And it's not even like it's that much of an NBA/NFL promotion thing. Basketball in itself is a much more individualistic sport than football is.

Hell, the NFL promotes individualism as much as they possibly can for what their sport is. Every game is (Insert QB Name Here) and the (Insert Team Name Here) against (Insert QB Name Here) and the (Insert Team Name Here).

I disagree. At my job I work with nothing but white folks. Age 30-45 for the most part and they get legit heated at dudes celebrating in sports and I've heard numerous rants about it. Not saying they represent every white male around that age but it really blew my mind how pissed off they would get about it. Even when I played ball with some of them and doing friendly trash talking they were offended.

But I gurantee you that those same white folks have no problem when Brady, manning, Brees, wayne Gretzky when they talk shyt during games, get pumped up and celebrate

I still think that mentality is far more widespread in the older crowd. Just look at who the league is run by...a bunch of rich, old, white men. If it was run by younger white guys I think we'd see less suppression but it's all conjecture .
