I created the potato and I put it in South America for three foot tall Mexicans to eat.You should re-read what they are trying to say.Saying that the food is more suited to people who live in certain climates. The origin of the white potato wouldn't matter in that scenario.

What proof?I'm talking about actual scientific research and proof that it's hard on your body.....
How To Eat To Live is all about whats easy to digest and unfortunately those aren't easily digestible![]()
Ok but I am hungry all the time big dawgFrom what I remember reading, it has to do with how hard it is for your body to break it down.
Also, I remember reading that they recommended cutting back on the number of meals you eat per day. If you're constantly eating throughout the day, you're not only overworking your system by digesting food all day, but your body is also constantly making stomach acid because it doesn't have a regulated schedule for eating. This is where the idea of having one big dinner at the end of the day comes from.
I remember the human body being compared to a car. If you're always pushing it to its limits, it's going to break down sooner. If you look after it, it will continue running for years.
They’re not plants that come from nature naturally. They were cultivated to be that way also like carrots, corn, most lettuce etc.

Look up the bananas we eat today. They aren't natural ether but I don't hear anyone avoiding those fruits
What proof?
Listen people, you eat to provide a few things to your body so you can be healthy
1-carbohydrates so your body can have a constant source of energy to think, and being able to make quick movement(rice, pasta, bread, etc.)
2-fat to make hormones, and up retain moisture in your organs(nuts, seeds, butter, etc)
3-protein to help build muscle, and neurotransmitters(beans, meat, tofu, etc)
4-soluble fiber to keep your blood sugar stable when you eat carbohydrates, and simple sugar(beans which are the best source ,fruit, psyllium husk)
5-insoluble fiber to push the food out so it won't stay too long in your gut, and start fermenting too much(collard greens which are the best, cabbage, kale, etc)
6-Spices to keep your cells high in antioxidants
If every meal has these foods in them at the same time, and don't sit all day, you will be healthy by eating with all this in mind, it's not hard to do

Are you?

They won’t serve you collard greens at a restaurant but will serve you greasy burgers, french fries, fried fish, sugary pies, etc. no problem.
