Sounds like they just examined white-created stereotypes and then said "don't eat those foods."

Collard greens, spinach, kale and other dark green vegetables are some of the best foods to eat. Obviously if you cook it with hamhocks and bacon grease, it won't work well for you.

Rice/yams etc. are West African staples. Most rice eating people are very lean (East Asians, different African groups etc). He talked about the Irish eating potatoes even though taters are a New World food. They weren't apart of the European diet before 1500.

Pseudo-science mixed with some pan African bullshyt without actually understanding what west/central Africans eat. Probably thinks jollof rice with dried fish is devilish cac food.

Yeah I’d say that’s mainly from restraining from vices(drinking, smoking, etc) than diet. I’ve known plenty NOI members, family and non-family, who suffer from the same dietary ailments as other Black folks.

Funny you mention this tho, my mom met Muhammad Ali through my uncle back in the 70’s and always talked about how flawless his skin was.
How does that even make sense? If they’re avoiding smoking, drinking and drugs whilst eating an organic diet free of processed food, why would they suffer the same aliments of those doing the complete opposite? :why:

Either you’re lying or they lying about what they eating, cannot be both.

Obviously they’re not following the diet bruh, that’s the whole point.
:beli:

Their own restaurants don’t even practice what they preach and it’s been like that for DECADES, how do you think most of the members are really eating?

Thought I made that clear but apparently not.

LOl nikka I'm a southern dude did your folks grow they own collards or something. LOl eating collards at least once a weak is nuts.
Either steamed, canned, or going to a jerk/soul food spot and getting it as a side

.

Actually the monounsaturated, and saturated fat, that is what helps your body absorb the calcium, and iron, it's the high salted meats that's the issue.

I don't eat meat, though, but some good saturated fats like butter is good when cooked with leafy vegetables.

Or just some regular vegetable oil is good enough if you're gonna eat your greens with something like macaroni and cheese, it already has enough saturated fat from the cheese, and butter in it
